What Is Ares ?

Ares is probably the most popular file sharing program. it allows its users to share any type of file such as audio, video, photos, software, documents, apps and more.

How Does Ares Work?

Ares uses the bittorrent network and has millions of users. Ares members can download from "seeders"- other members who have the desired file on their computer. the file is downloaded in chunks from many seeders at the same time through "peers". the more peers - the better.

How Fast Can Ares Download?

Downloads speed depends on various factors, mainly :

- your internet connection speed.

- the number of seeders - the users who share the file.

- the number of peers you are connected to.

Some Isp's may limit p2p bandwidth.

Ares Can't Connect?

In order for Ares to connect, the right port shuold be open. a port is like a gate that allows connection. the port may be closed buy firewalls or if you use a router. in this case "port forwarding will solve the problem. if the ports are open and still Ares doesn't connect, then you should  get an updated version of Ares.

Which Ares Version?

Since Ares uses open code, the original version from aresgalaxy has been changed and now it is possible to find better versions. you can find a good working version of ares here. you will also get support and many other tools that covers all one needs for free downloads.

So How Do I Download?

Ares has a search box. type in the name of the file you want to search for. now you will see a list with the best matches. pick the one you want and download. try to download the one with the bigger amount of seeds for faster download time. now wait till  the download is finished. that's it.

Enjoy.
